8:15 am-4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (administration and admissions)

Clientele Served

• adults who want to live free from the harmful effects of alcohol, other drugs and gambling
• independent adolescents (16 or 17 years old) who have been assessed by an AADAC counsellor

Program/Service Description

• provides a 19-bed residential treatment facility for men and women who are recovering from addictions
• offers a 20-day intensive treatment program that includes individual and group counselling, interactive workshops and lectures, recreation and leisure activities, and participation in self-help groups
• offers a 20-day intensive Gambling Treatment Program for men and women experiencing serious problems related to gambling. Gambling Program applications are available from NAC.

Referral Information

• The full program can be accessed with residential support or on an outpatient basis.
• A completed Application Form (including health assessment) is required before an admission date is arranged.
• Brochures and Client Information Sheets are available from NAC.
• Detoxification services are also available at NAC.
• The Business and Industry Clinic provides specialized residential support and services to employers and employees.
• Clients need to be able to fully participate in all aspects of the program.

Additional Notes

• $40/day room and board fee applies for Alberta residents (no fee for outpatient clients).
• $200/day fee applies for residents of other provinces.
